There is a small pressure ripple in the middle of the sub-tropical Atlantic weather chart which has formed Disturbance Forty, currently around 1200 miles east-sou’east of Bermuda. Aerial images reveal only weak shower and thunderstorm activity. This looks to be tracking slightly north of west and may run into favourable development conditions in a few days’ time. This doesn’t seem to have much potential and at worst, spread a few showers towards Bermuda early next week.

Stand easy.
