Weakening NICOLE crossing rural Georgia

| Storm Report 2022

NICOLE has weakened further to a tropical depression and is likely to diminish to a remnant low today. Currently centred 30 miles east of Macon, Ga. headed north-nor’east at 20 knots, 40 knot winds are being reported with the worst of the muck and filth being fanned out in the system’s outer rainbands displaced well away from the centre towards the east. The risk of heavy rainfall with isolated flash flooding and isolated tornadoes will continue albeit reduce as the system accelerates and merges with a frontal system later today.

Aside from the last of the muck and filth from NICOLE, stand easy.
