ELSA dissipated at speed in the North Atlantic.
Disturbance Eighteen is closing on the Windward Islands moving west at a brisk 30 knots which should keep development nicely in check as it enters the Caribbean. Mind you, we said that about ELSA.
Disturbance Sixteen has reappeared in the south west Caribbean after a few days without organisation. This is moving west at 9 knots towards the Mosquito Coast of Nicaragua. This is late in the day to produce anything meaningful but may reorganise when it reaches the Pacific.
