Weather agencies keeping close watch on new development.

Disturbance Eighteen is an open wave spread over the north-central Caribbean, centred to the south of Haiti moving west at a brisk, cyclone-preventing 27 knots.  This will remain disorganised with decreasing thunderstorm activity as it heads swiftly across the southwest Caribbean into Central America by Wednesday.

Disturbance Twenty One still has a mean look about it but seems to be turning early. Currently 300 miles south-west of the Cape Verde Islands, a touch north of westbound at 15 knots, this still seems likely to turn before reaching the Caribbean. Development conditions are improving and the various agencies are watching this with a keen eye.

Stand easy.
