Weakening disturbance unlikely to trouble Bermuda.

| Storm Report 2022

From west to east;

Ripples in pressure gradients in the Caribbean may produce two potential disturbances this week. One is an upper level trough which could develop close to the south of Haiti within the next five days and another further to the south in around a week. This is highly speculative but this is the time of the season when opportunist cyclones develop in the west without the fanfare of an Atlantic crossing.

Disturbance Forty is now 500 miles east of Bermuda, still showing little interest in developing as it tracks west. This may bring some enhanced showers and thunderstorm activity to Bermuda today and is expected to merge with an approaching cold front and dissipate.

Stand easy.
