Storm warning for Jamaica for developing westbound cyclone.

| Storm Report 2022

From west to east;

Disturbance Forty One has dug in overnight and formed Tropical Disturbance Fifteen. Currently 130 miles south east of Jamaica moving west at 10 knots, this is showing signs of a developing convection cycle. All signs are that this will strengthen and could become a tropical storm later today with a continued westward track towards Belize over the next couple of days. Environmental conditions for further development are favourable and this may hit hurricane intensity before landfall. This will be a rainmaker and is expected to pose a flooding threat to north-east central America. Tropical storm conditions are possible across Jamaica today and on Grand Cayman Island tomorrow.

Disturbance Forty Three merged with an eastbound cold front, well to the north of Bermuda and is off radar now.
