Disturbance seven ashore

Saturday 25th June 2016

Disturbance seven is in the southwest Bay of Campeche and about to move ashore into Mexico enhancing shower and thunderstorm activity but no further development is expected.

Disturbance eight is centred around 200 miles north of Curaçao and moving quickly west. The ambitious storm enthusiasts who were talking this up into something deep and meaningful seem to have lost interest. Nonetheless, this may enhance shower and thunderstorm activity for the Yucatan peninsula later this coming week and may yet drift into the Bay of Campeche, but the development chances are very low and it is far too early to say.

Stand easy.
