Sandy air in the east

Wednesday 5th July 2016

Disturbance eleven is in the central Caribbean, centred around 100 miles south of Jamaica and moving quickly west at 21 knots. A daft groundspeed and hostile conditions aloft will see this doesn't develop further. A number of weak fluffy cloud systems are gathering off the coast of west Africa, however a strong area of high pressure to the north will suppress anything to the south, where in any event, a large area of airborne Sahara sand awaits anyway.

Stand easy.
