Sahara sand sees off Disturbance Ten

Saturday 24th June 2017

Disturbance Nine is about a day's steaming east of the Lesser Antilles, westbound at 21 knots. This excessive ground speed will prevent development and only means that the good folk of the far eastern Caribbean islands will get enhanced shower and thunderstorm sooner than expected and it will pass quicker.

As expected, airborne Sahara sand saw off Disturbance Ten.

Stand easy.
