Tropical Depression Four dissipated
Saturday 8th July 2017
Tropical Depression Four lost its surface profile last night and has become little more than a wave in the isobaric profile of the north east Caribbean. What is left is moving west-nor'west at 20 knots taking it through the Bahamas early next week and onwards to the Florida straits. There is little chance of this developing under current environmental conditions.
We have Disturbance Fourteen now. This is crossing the coast of Sierra Leone now and set to race west at a heady 25 knots. Speed seems to be a theme at present. This could reach the Caribbean by Friday at this rate although environmental conditions and ground speed are not going to aid development. One modeller has this down for storm development though, Yes. Him again. Surfaced from his igloo.
