Two potential developing disturbances
Thursday 3rd August 2017
From west to east
Disturbance Twenty Two is moving rapidly through the south western Caribbean, headed for a weak and unremarkable finish in Central America. Not a peep out of the Blind Sniper.
Disturbance Twenty Three is crossing the Leeward Islands now, westbound at 18 knots causing heavy showers and localised thunderstorms across the area. This is fairly disorganised at present but I still believe conditions ahead are ripe for a degree of development.
Disturbance Twenty Six is passing the Cape Verde Islands now, westbound at a crisp 18 knots. Conditions ahead are becoming more favourable for development and this one needs watching as well.
