Disturbance Three ashore
Monday 18th June 2018
To the relief of all, Disturbance Three has beaten the meteorological clock and made it ashore before developing, moving into Texas today. Heavy showers and thunderstorms will spread across southern and coastal Texas and northeast Mexico and continue into the middle of the week with localised flooding in places. Some of the heaviest thunderstorms could produce wind gusts up to 50 knots in places but no serious development is expected.
Disturbance Six is passing the Lesser Antilles westbound at 12 knots now. This is not expected to develop but will enhance shower and thunderstorm activity across the area today.
