Saturday 21st July 2018
Disturbance Seventeen ran ashore on the Mosquito coast of Nicaragua overnight and is off radar now.
Disturbance Eighteen is close to the coast of North Carolina shaping up to move to the north-nor'east along the eastern seaboard. This is not expected to develop tropical characteristics but will produce heavy rain and the odd gust up to 35 knots over the next day or two as it travels from the Outer Banks of North Carolina towards New England.
