Another storm threat-free day
Tuesday 7th August 2018
From west to east,
As expected, Disturbance Twenty One crept ashore unnoticed in Central America overnight.
Disturbance Twenty Three is still centred around 1000 miles west-sou'west of the Azores. The system has found a window to become a little better organised overnight but this will be short-lived and will accelerate harmlessly to the north then northeast over the next few days. This presents no threat to land.
Disturbance Twenty Two is still battling sand, now centred around midway between the Cape Verde and Windward Islands dashing quickly west. Development is not expected.
