Rainmaker in Bay of Campeche
Saturday 1st June 2019
The rising air we spotted yesterday has now got its act together and formed Disturbance Two in the south eastern Bay of Campeche and is headed west at 5 knots. This will track very slowly across the Bay this weekend causing gusty showers and some heavy thunderstorms before making landfall somewhere north of Veracruz on Monday night. There is a slight chance of development but limited sea time may restrict this to very heavy rainfall along the Mexican coast into southern Texas later in the week.
Heavy rainfall in the Bay of Campeche otherwise stand easy.
