Disturbance Eighteen limping home

Wednesday July 8th 2020

From West to East;

Battle-weary Disturbance Eighteen is almost home now, having been attacked on all sides during the Atlantic crossing from Saharan sand and upper level wind shear. Currently passing around 220 miles north of the coast of Colombia, this has some rain associated with it and the odd thunderstorm but won't develop further as it makes an uneventful landfall in central America tomorrow.

Disturbance Twenty is seaborne again off the coast of South Carolina. This is expected to compose itself offshore and produce a rainmaker tracking north along the eastern seaboard with some lively winds and very heavy rain, perhaps as far north as Maine.

Stand by for heavy rain along the eastern seaboard, otherwise stand easy.
