FAY raining over New York
Saturday 11th July 2020
Disturbance Twenty One is now crossing the Lesser Antilles, bringing heavy rain showers as it begins accelerating west at 22 knots. A high ground speed and upper level shear will keep this safely suppressed.
What remains of weakens is crossing New York City and will reach Quebec tonight. This flooded streets in beach resorts as it made landfall in New Jersey last night but otherwise gave little cause for concern. This has had its day.
Rain across New York today otherwise, stand easy.
