Disturbance sixty three soldiering on

Aerial images of much of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic basin are now showing a growing web of frontal systems. Rapidly chamging environments can produce sudden opportunities, but it will be a very determined system indeed that develops in the coming 5 to 7 days.

Plucky and undaunted disturbance sixty three is centred about 600 hundred miles north east of the Amazon delta and is moving to the west at 10 knots. This has shown some promise today with some surface organisation but the track ahead is not encouraging and the system is already starting to nudge slightly north of west and on this heading, the nearest this will get to land is somewhere north of the Lesser Antilles around the middle of next week, then turning north into the open Atlantic.

Stand easy.
