LORENZO wimps out mid Atlantic
From west to east -
Disturbance sixty nine has been battered into submission by upper level shear in the Bay of Campeche. It is now moving west at walking pace and will stroll ashore into Mexico tonight. Scattered showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorm could produce wind gusts of 40 knots across portions of the Bay of Campeche today as this disappears.
LORENZO wimped out mid Atlantic.
Disturbance seventy is close to the midway stage across the Atlantic. There is no discernible pattern, just a very large area of showers and stormy conditions associated with a tropical wave as it moves west at 12 knots. Development appears unlikely over the next few days.
