Weak disturbance three south of Haiti
Overview Sunday, May 31st, 2015
Disturbance two has stalled and is filling about 350 miles off the coast of Florida and will be off radar soon.
Disturbance three is a weak tropical wave in the central Caribbean with a loosely defined centre about 80 miles south of Haiti. This is creeping west under heavy wind shear and will move into the north western Caribbean and then turn north east towards southern Florida or the Bahamas later in the week. Development is not expected in the Caribbean, but there is a chance of development once it reaches the Atlantic to the east of Florida. The greatest threat will be heavy rainfall for the Florida peninsular and the Bahamas mid to late week.
