A new disturbance approaching the Caribbean from the east

Despite categorical assurances from most observers, a new disturbance - designated number nine of the 2015 season - has piped up about a day east of the Windward Islands. This is westbound at 15 knots and will enter the Caribbean tomorrow. Some enhanced showers and thunderstorms are already being seen in the eastern Caribbean, however in fairness to the commentators we have criticised for being overconfident, development of this disturbance is not likely due to very strong wind shear over the Caribbean.
