Disturbance fifteen headed for disappointment
Disturbance fifteen is the lone survivor of the three weak systems which were seaborne yesterday. This really is a difficult season for the ambitious tropical low pressure system. Fifteen is now centred around 400 miles north east of the mouth of the Amazon and following the well-worn track west at 8 knots. The system continues to exhibit some impressive shower and thunderstorm activity but will shortly hit a wall of upper level shear which is going to rain on disturbance fifteen's parade.
